Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit waxerpro.com or get in touch with us, why it is processed, and the rights you have over it under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
01Data controller
The data controller is the operator of WaxerPro (waxerpro.com), based in Italy. For any requests: chris@waxerpro.com
02What data we collect
When you use the contact form on waxerpro.com, we collect the data you choose to provide:
- Name
- Email address
- Message content
The form prepares an email in your own email client: nothing is stored by the website itself. When you send it, we receive your name, email address and message as an ordinary email.
Our hosting provider may also process technical data (such as IP addresses) in server logs, strictly for security and to deliver the site.
03Purpose and legal basis
We process your data for one purpose only: responding to your enquiry and, if you ask for it, following up about the WaxerPro service.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering messages addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where you tick the consent checkbox in the form, your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.
04Retention
If no contract or ongoing conversation follows from your enquiry, your message and the personal data in it are deleted after 12 months. If a contract is concluded, data is kept for as long as the relationship and applicable legal obligations require.
05Sharing and third parties
We do not sell your personal data to anyone, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
This site loads Google Fonts from Google's CDN. When the page loads, your browser requests font files from Google's servers, which means your IP address is transmitted to Google LLC and may be processed outside the European Economic Area. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
06Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15)
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten", Art. 17)
- Data portability (Art. 20)
- Objection to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21)
07How to exercise your rights
Email chris@waxerpro.com with your request. We will respond without undue delay and in any case within one month, as required by the GDPR.
08Complaints
If you believe your data has been processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority: Garante per la protezione dei dati personali — garanteprivacy.it.
09Cookie Policy
No analytics cookies are currently in use on waxerpro.com. We do not use profiling or marketing cookies of any kind.
Google Fonts, loaded from Google's CDN, may set technical cookies necessary for the delivery of the font files.
Your choice on the cookie notice banner is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) so we don't show it again. This value never leaves your device.
